We take up designing, implementation and introduction of workers' portals, which facilitate the internal communication process and are the source of a lot of information among others on the most important recent activities, supervised undertakings, company’s property auctions, competitions, promotions for workers and expected changes. The portal usually posses extended functionality of the news services, articles categories, knowledge base, questionnaires, surveys, configurable menus, banners, workflows etc. The mechanism of the portal is similar to the idea of Web 2.0 where the boundaries between the redactors and final users fade  away, whereas the user can start his own news service and he can be its redactor, taking care of the quality of the factual content.   Its advantage is integration possibility of the portal with the corporate mail, human resources system, enabling access to many information functions, directly from the portal, like contact list, new e-mail notification, workers’ address book.
